Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste emails into ChatGPT?
Only paste what you would show an external service provider, and remove sensitive data like passwords or account numbers. For permanently sensitive mailboxes, the automated variant with clear rules or an AI mail client is the cleaner solution.
Does the automation send replies without my okay?
No – in the recommended setup, replies are only saved as drafts in your mailbox. You skim them and send them yourself. Fully automatic sending is possible but not advisable for most people.
Does this also work with Outlook instead of Gmail?
Yes. Make.com and Zapier have Outlook blocks with the same triggers (new email) and actions (label, draft). The workflow stays identical – only the mail block is swapped.
